VELLUM SOLIDS - beats all in blends and is first in fillets
JOE GRECO of DESKTOP ENGINEERING Magazine recently held an independent competition of ten of the most capable and widely used CAD solid modeling programs. The competition itself consisted of 15 specific test blends and fillets. Vellum Solids out-performed the nine other competitors by a margin of 20% to 60%. Five of the ten competitors could not complete over half of the designs, even after further work. When the initial designs were set up, Vellum was able to complete 80% of the blends and fillets on the first attempt. The nearest competitor could only complete 47% of the same blends and fillets on the first attempt. The following chart clearly shows the simple superiority of VELLUM SOLIDS over its closest competitors.
